What happens when you fly a paramotor 20 miles into the mountains, land on a remote dirt airstrip, and meet up with your dad, who flew his airplane out to the same location? This is backcountry aviation at its finest!
In this episode, I take my paramotor on an adventure into the mountains for a remote landing and an unforgettable aviation meetup. Getting there wasn't easy. With full fuel and absolutely no wind to help with takeoff, getting airborne was a challenge right from the start.
After flying approximately 20 miles into the mountains, I land on a rugged dirt airstrip and meet up with my dad, who flew his airplane out to meet me. Two different aircraft, one remote destination, and an adventure that reminds me why I love flying.
But the adventure doesn't end there. On the flight back, I climb to 10,000 feet before enjoying an incredible glide back toward the ground. From a challenging takeoff to remote mountain flying and high-altitude views, this flight was everything I love about paramotoring.
If you're into paramotors, powered paragliding, ultralight aviation, backcountry adventures, and exploring places most people never get to see, you're in the right place!
