After a whole year of waiting, building and getting everything sorted, the day has finally arrived… we’re taking the finished MK1 Escort out for its first proper drive! 🏁 And honestly, I wasn’t expecting it to be this good! 😈 It’s so much louder, faster and more aggressive than I remember, and now I finally get to experience what all that hard work has been leading up to. But before we get too carried away, we need to get it back to the workshop and give everything a proper check over. With a freshly built engine and a car that’s going to be driven hard, the last thing we want is something going wrong or, even worse, a fire! Is the finished Escort everything I hoped it would be?
