HAVE MERCY — A Soul Song About Being Needed, Not Chosen | W. Simpson

For anyone learning that being needed and being chosen can feel painfully different. You tell me I’m the kind of man a woman ought to never lose. But somehow I’m still standing here wondering why you never choose. HAVE MERCY is an original country-soul and blues song about loving someone who keeps coming back, yet never fully chooses you.
