The park is home to various historical sites such as the Tenkai Sojo Hair Tower and the Dr. Wani Monument. At Kiyomizu Kannon-do, the Tsuki no Matsu (Moon Pine), a reconstruction of a scene famously depicted in Utagawa Hiroshige's ukiyo-e prints, can be seen. The Benten-do temple at Shinobazu Pond is visible through the circular pine branch, forming a landscape unique to the park. At Takenodai Square, Geisai 2026, the annual festival of Tokyo University of the Arts, is in full swing. An art market organized by students is set up in the square, featuring the exhibition and sale of various works. There are queues for popular quick portrait drawing booths, and many visitors are seen observing the student-made art. The area surrounding the large fountain is crowded with people attending the festivities. Inside the Tokyo University of the Arts campus, there are exhibitions at the Geidai Art Plaza, outdoor stage performances, and various food stalls run by students. On Byobuzaka-dori Street, just outside the main gate, three giant and creatively designed mikoshi floats created by the students are on display.
