Alberta Anthem: We are One (by Our Connected Past) — Quentin James [Original Country Lyric Video]

Quentin James channels the raw defiance of a region fighting to protect what its ancestors carved from wilderness—literally and figuratively—in Alberta Anthem: We Are One. The video pulses with the pioneer legacy, evoking hand-hewn maple paddles crossing fertile lands and the blood-and-sweat foundation laid by souls of steel, while simultaneously thrusting viewers into the present moment where wolves circle at the gate, funded from the south, threatening water, air, and the connected promise of generations. James transforms regional frustration into something fiercer: a unifying battle cry where elbows pound chests and voices rise together, rejecting the existential crisis of political elitism with the collective power of a people who refuse to be broken. Visually raw and emotionally combustible, this anthem bridges past and future, honoring the pioneer spirit while demanding that Alberta stand strong, united, and forever free—a defiant promise that we are one, always. A defiant protest of regional alienation and working-class frustration, honoring the pioneer spirit and hand-carved maple paddles. Challenges the political elite out East, then turns into a unifying battle cry — stand strong, protect the connected past and future. 🎵 Alberta Anthem: We are One (by Our Connected Past) 🎤 Quentin James Bone Tire All birder was not easy one It was built with fiery hearts under A fiery sun, sun A maple paddle carved by hand Used to cross this fertile land It was built by souls of steel With a dream of a life Forever was the deal We worked together We built this land with blood, sweat and tears Defended our freedom We never fear We are one by our connected past We are one by our efforts cast We are one with a future everlasting We are one always And forever And forever We are under attack An existential crisis We can't hold back It's elbows up Elbows up And pound our chest We know the enemy We know the crime It's elbows up Elbows up It's time We stand together Defending a land that's best We built this land with blood Sweat and tears Defended our freedom We never fear We are one By our connected past We are one By our efforts cast We are one With a future everlasting We are one Always Go away And forever And forever There are wolves at the gate Funded from the south South they just can't wait Our water, our air This our connected promise We know the enemy They know what they can kiss It's elbows up To fend this northern dream Alberta won't be broken away At the scene We built this land with blood We are one with a future everlasting We are one always And for the future everlasting We are one with a future everlasting We are one, always, and forever We are one, always strong, always free We are one, always strong, always free ... you For everyone who knows: proud to be albertan · standing together strong · defending our home · built on heritage 🎼 Credits Written & performed by Quentin James Lyric video made with Lyrsemble #AlbertaAnthem:WeareOne(byOurConnectedPast) #QuentinJames #CountryMusic #lyricsVideo #originalMusic #indieMusic
