In this DIY video from the Agya Charizard YouTube channel, we demonstrate how to bleed the rear brake system of a 2004 Suzuki SV650 motorcycle to restore a firmer and more responsive brake feel. Air trapped inside the hydraulic brake lines can reduce braking effectiveness and make the brake pedal feel soft or spongy, so bleeding the system allows the air to be removed while replacing or circulating the brake fluid. We show the basic procedure and the improvement in rear brake grip after the job is completed. Because brake fluid can damage paint and other finished surfaces, extra care should be taken during the procedure, and any spilled fluid should be cleaned thoroughly after the work is finished. This is a practical DIY maintenance project that can help keep your motorcycle's braking system working safely and effectively.
