Record Separate Audio Tracks in OBS — Mic, Discord, Game

Ever wish you could change your music volume or mute a specific audio source AFTER you’ve finished recording? With multi-track audio in OBS, you can! In this video, I show you how to set up OBS to record separate audio tracks so you can have total control in your video editor. Whether you’re trying to balance game sound, your microphone, or background music, this is the best way to ensure your audio mix is perfect every time. What you’ll learn: How to configure Advanced Audio Properties in OBS. How to assign sources to specific tracks (Track 1 for the mix, Tracks 2-6 for individual sources). The correct Output settings to ensure all tracks are recorded. How to import and view these separate tracks in DaVinci Resolve. Quick OBS Setup: Open Advanced Audio Properties (the gear icon in Audio Mixer). Assign your sources to different tracks (1 through 6). Go to Settings - Output - Recording. Check the boxes for the number of tracks you want to record. Hit Apply! Recording this way is a total lifesaver for remixing your audio or filtering out unwanted noise.
