▬ Car information ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
The new car price was 31.900€. The current selling price is round about (with m packet).
The VW e-Golf is powered by an electric engine and delivers 136 HP & 290Nm of torque. An electric car has many advantages but also disadvantages. The acceleration of the electric motor is much faster and direct compared to a petrol/diesel engine. This is because when the electric car accelerates, it uses 100% of its torque as soon as the throttle is pressed down. The disadvantage is the charging of the electric cars. If you don't have a charging station that supports high kW, you have to charge for many hours.
136 hp are perfect for the VW e-Golf daily driver, because they are comfortable and consume not much, nevertheless they accelerate very well. The VW e-Golf has a 1-Speed automatic gearbox Transmission.
Let's take a look at the VW e Golf battery consumption. According to factory specifications, the manufacturers promise that the battery consumption is 13,2kWh/100km. But the driving style plays a big role, because if you drive sporty you can never keep the prescribed manufacturer consumption. On the other hand, if you drive very economically, you can even get below the factory specification. Further information is that the battery capacity is 35,8kWh. With a full charged battery, the VW e-Golf reaches 231 kilometers, which is not enough. However, you have to consider that these numbers can only be achieved if you drive economically. The Volkswagen e-Golf is powered by a front-wheel-drive system.
1615Kg is very much for VW Golf. A heavy car makes a car consume more. The heavy weight is not noticeable in the acceleration, because the 136HP feel very quick. According to the factory, the VW e-Golf accelerates from 0-100 in 9,6 seconds, which is very impressive for 136hp, considering that the car is very heavy at 1615kg. From our own experience we can confirm that the acceleration feels much faster. As with many electric cars, the Volkswagen e-golf is limited to 150 km/h. The wind noise at higher speeds are comfortable.
The VW e-Golf suspension is very good. The suspension can be changed in the different driving modes. In sport mode it is hard and stiffer and you have more feeling for the road and bumps, the car starts to bounce a little. In comfort mode, the suspension changes to soft, so you don't feel as much of the road. The handling in curves of the VW e-Golf is perfect, because you can drive even at high speeds in sharp curves without understeering or oversteering. However, the cornering position is also dependent on the weight. The steering is very accurate and direct, so you do not have to steer much. Even when braking down hard from high speeds, the car behaves quietly. The VW e golf sound is very silent.
The size of the Volkwagen e golf is 4,2m in length and includes a width of 1,7m, which overall represent a very large vehicle. This can be compared to a Audi A3 e-tron.
In our opinion the VW e Golf is one of the best looking modern EV car which was ever built. What do you say? #golf #vw #volkswagen
