RIP Pepe Willie - 1948 - 2025. Mentor to Prince in his early musical years, Prince was part of his band 94 East. Prince played on tracks from the album and co-wrote Just Another Sucker with Pepe. This track was written by Pepe Willie & Jesse Johnson,. Prince appears as a musician. Prince later re-recorded the song in 1982 and renamed the track "Do Yourself A Favor" The track has been circulating un-officially since its release, but finally saw official release on the 1999 SDE set in 2019. This mix uses Prince's vocal from this version and combines it with the 94 East recordings. In 1986, Jesse Johnson released a version of the track heavily based on Prince's reworked version.
