Where Do You Stand? | Pastora Carmela Joy Delos Santos | Global Heart Missions

We can call Jesus “Lord,” listen to His Word, and know His teachings by heart. But the real question is: Are we truly living in obedience to Him? Luke 6:46–49 reminds us that hearing God's Word is not enough. We are called to put it into practice, building our lives on Jesus, the solid foundation that remains firm even when the storms come. Dig deep. Go beyond simply knowing the Word. Examine your heart, spend time in His presence, and allow His truth to reveal what needs to change. Ask yourself, “Lord, what am I still holding on to that You are asking me to surrender?” Build on the Rock. Jesus is not meant to be just a part of our lives. He must be the foundation of our choices, values, and decisions. When we build our lives on Him, we learn to trust His truth above our feelings, circumstances, and the changing things of this world. Put His Word into practice. Faith is demonstrated through obedience. It is in the daily decisions to follow His instructions, even when it is difficult, uncomfortable, or different from what we want. We don't obey to earn God's love; we obey because we have received His grace and recognize Jesus as Lord. The real test of our foundation is not when everything is peaceful, but when the floods come unexpectedly. When disappointment, loss, discouragement, and uncertainty shake our lives, will our faith remain standing? A solid foundation is not built in one Sunday service. It is built daily, brick by brick, through the choices we make to trust, surrender, and obey God's Word. So today, don't just ask, “Lord, why is life so heavy?” Ask yourself, “Lord, am I building my life on Your Word, or am I merely hearing it without obeying?” Where do you stand? Build your life on Jesus. Dig deep into His Word. Walk in obedience. And when the storms come, may your life remain firmly rooted in the One who never fails. “For no one can lay any foundation other than the one we already have—Jesus Christ.” — 1 Corinthians 3:11 (NLT) FOLLOW #GHM ON SOCIAL MEDIA Facebook:   / ghmmanila   Instagram:   / globalheartmissions   TikTok:   / globalheartmissions   Gospel of Hope Music YouTube:    / @gospelofhopemusic   Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/artist/0AERP...
