Apps like Uber/Ola showed ₹5,200, but our amazing regular cab guy charged us only ₹3,200! Drop a comment if you want his direct contact number—he's been driving us safely the entire trip! Jatayu Earth Center Twist: The cable car was shut down due to heavy rain and an orange alert! We had to walk up 860 stairs plus steep open slopes in the pouring rain (took 45 minutes!). Bought emergency raincoats there for ₹300 each. The Top-Of-The-Hill Breakfast: Had hot dal vada, ulundu (udid) vada, chai, and fresh lime juice (₹300 total). That fresh lime juice after a rain-soaked climb was absolute heaven! Hotel Stay in Trivandrum: Booked Hotel Saj Luciya (a classified 4-star hotel) for ₹8,700 for 3 nights—super comfortable with rich 5-star vibes inside! The Big day Tomorrow: It's just a 100 to 200 meter walk (about a 1-to-2 minute walk) from our hotel straight to the world-famous Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple!
