I Became The Representation I Wanted to See | As The Pokéball Turns | As The Pokéball Turns

NHoff has competed at Pokémon GO Worlds, become known for her Tapu Fini, created content, and established herself within competitive Pokémon GO. But none of those accomplishments are what she hopes people remember most. In this episode of As The Pokéball Turns, NHoff shares her journey from the early days of Pokémon GO to discovering PvP through the Silph Arena, competing at the World Championships in Japan, becoming involved with GirlsThatPVP, and unexpectedly becoming someone other Trainers recognize at events. She also explains why representation for women, queer players, and trans players has become more meaningful to her than rankings, views, or being considered one of the game's best competitors. Sometimes your greatest accomplishment isn't what you achieve. It's who feels comfortable trying because they saw you do it first. 👍 Like this video if you enjoyed the conversation. 🔔 Subscribe for more authentic Pokémon stories. 📤 Share this episode with another Trainer who helped you feel like you belonged. 🌐 Visit our website: www.AsThePokeballTurns.com #PokemonGO #PokemonPodcast #TapuFini #LGBTQIA #MyPKMNStory
