DUDLEY TOWN CENTRE will Dudley become a ghost town when the metro arrives? Merry Hill almost squeezed the life out of Dudley town when swathes of shops up sticks and moved to Merry Hill. Now the Midland Metro is set take Dudley's dwindling shoppers away also to Merry Hill shopping centre when the track opens for business very soon. Will shoppers turn their backs on Dudley for good this time??
