Senso-ji in Asakusa is Tokyo's oldest temple. Its statue of Kannon has been hidden from view since the year 645, and 30 million worshippers visit every year. Take a short virtual walk through Senso-ji, the oldest temple in Tokyo: under the giant red lantern of Kaminarimon, the Thunder Gate, along the souvenir stalls of Nakamise-dori, through Hozomon to the Main Hall and the five-storied pagoda, and back again after dark.
