Van der Graaf Generator Centre Municipal des Congrès, Québec City, Québec 7th October 1976 Audience Recording Quality: B- Here in Québec City marks the second night in Canada, so their second time in North America in general. It’s captured on fairly muffled and distant tape, but the kind that’s not too hard to listen to. You can still mostly hear the music. Give a listen to “When She Comes” and hear Hammill’s growls here. Unfortunately there’s a fade-out at the end of “Gog” which is irritating. VdGG’s inter-musicianship is always a step above most bands and a good demonstration of that is “A Place to Survive”.
