Stories of the NWR: Percy's Betrayal - Part 1

Percy, feeling that Diesels are unfairly treated, visits the Dieselworks where he meets Devious Diesel. Diesel manipulates Percy by bringing up past events, particularly the time Thomas spent with Belle during the "Day of the Diesels," leaving Percy feeling abandoned. Diesel convinces Percy that Thomas has always hogged the spotlight, making Percy question his friendship with Thomas. Diesel offers Percy a deal: if Percy helps bring back Diesel 10, Diesel will ensure Percy takes Thomas’ place as the hero of Sodor. Percy, despite initial hesitation, agrees. Later that night, Thomas, worried about Percy, goes to the Dieselworks. There, Percy confronts Thomas, accusing him of always overshadowing him. Percy shocks Thomas by revealing that Diesel 10 never worked alone and that he has sided with the Diesels. Thomas tries to reason with Percy, but Percy angrily orders him to leave. Heartbroken, Thomas leaves the Dieselworks, unsure of how to fix their friendship. The episode ends with Thomas feeling defeated and questioning how things will ever go back to normal, setting the stage for Part 2.
