Glasgow City On The Clyde - Queen Mary - Govan - Fairfields - John Brown - Old Glasgow Pics

🚢 The River Clyde shaped Glasgow and the lives of the people who lived and worked along its banks. From the shipyards, docks, and towering cranes to the men who built the world's greatest ships, these photographs take us back to a Glasgow where hard work, skill, and community were part of everyday life. ✨ Inside the video: • The journey from the Queen Mary to the Govan Ferry • The crowds heading "doon the watter" for a day out • A look back at 1945, when the Clyde-built Queen Mary carried over 14,000 troops home into New York Harbor (as seen in the photo!) This video is a tribute to old Glasgow, its resilient people, and the river that started it all. 🎼 Soundtrack: Features our original instrumental composition, "Glasgow City on the Clyde".
