I prepared our meal slowly over the wood fire while my mother was nearby. The sound of the fire, the smell of the food cooking, and the peaceful atmosphere of our village made this ordinary day feel very special.
🌿 YouTube Description
Some days are not planned. They simply happen… and somehow, those are the days we remember most. ❤️🌿
The morning in our village began quietly.
The garden was calm, the trees were full of life, and the old countryside home was slowly coming to life. I was spending the day with my family and my mother, and I decided to prepare one of those traditional meals that tastes even better when it is cooked slowly over a real wood fire. 🔥
I brought out the old cooking pot and started preparing a traditional Persian Ash.
I added cooked chickpeas and beans together with fresh Ash herbs, then placed the pot over the fire. There is something completely different about cooking this way. You have to be patient. You cannot rush the fire or the food.
While the Ash was slowly cooking, I prepared fried onions and mint oil. The smell of the onions, herbs, and spices mixing with the smoke from the fire filled the whole yard.
My mother was there with me, helping and sharing this simple moment together. ❤️
As the hours passed, the Ash continued to cook slowly over the wood fire. I let it simmer for several hours, almost until the afternoon, until everything became beautifully thick and the flavors came together.
When I finally looked at the pot, the Ash had completely settled and become rich, fragrant, and delicious. It was one of those meals that reminds you why traditional food is worth the time and patience. 🍲🔥
But the day wasn't only about cooking.
I also spent some quiet moments in our garden. I walked between the trees, enjoyed the fresh air, looked at the flowers, and stopped beside our beautiful pomegranate tree. ❤️🌳🍎
Seeing the pomegranates growing in the garden, spending time with my mother, hearing the fire crackle, and preparing food the old-fashioned way reminded me how beautiful simple village life can be.
There is no hurry here.
Just family, nature, fire, traditional food, and the little moments that make an ordinary day unforgettable. 🌿❤️
