NO ONE Knew That This 1977 Movie Gave Us Silent Hill 2

Horror games are known for drawing inspiration from pretty much every form of media, including novels, books, and even documentaries. However, getting inspiration from movies is usually a very convenient practice for many developers because successful horror movies already have the brilliant ideas that people admire. But the issue is that this is a two-edged sword because people's high expectations can sometimes lead them to huge disappointments when the game is not as equally impressive as the movie. With that being said, there are some exceptions that really succeeded in capturing the essence of the movies and made it even better in certain cases. 0:00 - Intro 1:15 - When The Game Knows How Psychology Works 11:26 - The Essence Of The Genius Traps Faithfully Captured 15:35 - Implementing Proper Camouflage Mechanics 18:46 - The Challenge Of Stealth Is Masterfully Reintroduced 21:36 - When Dreams And Reality Intertwine 27:02 - Like The Video –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– Music: "Unknown Fear" by "Darren Curtis."
