Fall Leaf Collection: City of South Euclid, Ohio

Here is some footage I got of one of their crews collecting leaves on veterans day. I was surprised to see them out considering it's a holiday many municipalities give their employees off for. My main reason for being in south Euclid was to film Kimble who they contract with for trash. I knew I'd see them for sure because like many private haulers they still service on less major holidays. The city leaf crews though was a pleasant surprise. They used to have a more interesting leaf fleet in the past. After they contracted for trash 30 or so years ago, they had a fleet of aging RLs left. So they took off the tailgates/packers and re purposed the bodies to hold leaves. Did not see any of those, sadly. They might not even have them anymore for all I know. There are pictures of them on Flickr, though, which is how I know about all this. Hope you enjoy.
