In Episode 009 Justin and Abe took a sneak peek at the Revolutionary Special Needs Park at Toms River, New Jersey. It is a beautiful place with an even more special purpose, with the founder Christian Kane masterminding the project after a tragic accident affecting his son and his family. "The Field of Dreams" was developed to create an inclusive space for Christians' family and the wider community, to close the gap for disabled children, allowing them to live a fun and fulfilled life with opportunities in their local community. Todd Frazier, Major League Baseball Star tells us what it means to be a part of it as a donor and someone who will be an integral part of encouraging and coaching children in the community. The Baseball pitches are purpose-built so accessible to all, which is really exciting. Todd said he cannot wait to "see it come to fruition" and to help children young and old "knock one out of the park" Baseball is just one part of the Park with mini golf, playgrounds and space for large events too. This will be the place to be in Toms River where everyone is welcome and facilities available for those with additional needs. This episode is an emotional, amazing showcase of the Toms River Community; getting together to make something wonderful happen. It is a testament to the compassion and generosity of local people and businesses that have made this happen collectively. We cannot wait for the grand opening planned for April 2022- watch this space!
