Ephesians 5: 22-33 I read the book last year and let me tell you that the series was fateful to the book. I think is one of the most accurate series based on a book. The mini series contains 4 episodes and is now available on Amazon Prime Video. What amazed me about the book was the heroine because she is really not a strong character at least not how they are today's female character but that is her charm. In a world were women are overpowered, Persephone was like a breath of fresh air where her strength is in optimist, gentleness, gratitude and honesty. She basically doesn't puts a mask and she is lacking pride which is in my opinion a very good trait. Adam is the most grumpy character I've ever read, despite being a scaring man at the outside really in the inside he is such a softy. SYNOPSIS: When Persephone Lancaster receives a marriage proposal from the ill-tempered Duke of Kielder, she refuses—and then reconsiders. The obscene sum of money he’s offering Persephone would save her family from ruin. With her characteristic optimism, she travels to the far reaches of Northumberland to wed a greatly feared stranger.
