Sonic 1 Megamix V4: Metallic Base Zone + The Final Fight (Super Tails, 720p/60fps)

Once again, Metallic Base Zone is the Megamix version of Sonic 1's Scrap Brain Zone. There are a lot of good oppotunties for Tails to fly here, too, despite how cramped Metallic Base can be at times. In Metallic Base Act 3, when Tails is underwater, I can't help but thing how it makes him as brown as he looks in the early American Sonic cartoons ("Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog" and what many call "Sonic "SatAM"). I didn't have to do what I did between 6:40 - 7:15. It was to look dramatic. -------------- The Final Fight is no different from what it was when I got here with Sonic, Mighty, and Shadow. Just hit Eggman once without dying and he'll run off. The glitched ending sequence will play out like usual. However, that means it's still based off of Sonic 1's ending. Although Mighty and Shadow have custom sprites that are seen in the Good Ending just like Sonic, Tails doesn't. So Tails just stands there staring to the side while the Chaos Emeralds do their thing. What is supposed to the blue one ends up having the same color palettes at Tails, and once the emeralds flash and disappear, Tails somehow turns blue just like Sonic, and then do his Sonic 3 ending pose while still being blue. But that's not all! For the first time since Sonic, I can finally see the Credits again, but the music is completely glitched, and what "music" you can here is actually just a random set of beeps, beats, and voice clips. They pick up the pace more near the end of the Credits, where they end up sounding a bit catchy. -------------- The last full playthrough I'm planning for this hack is to get through it as Knuckles!
