E AMWELL TOWNSHIP NEW JERSEY STRUCTURE FIRE 9/9/26 HUNTERDON COUNTY HEAVY FIRE CONDITIONS

This working structure fire in a large detached barn broke out shortly before 2:00 P.M. in the 400 block of Route 31 in E Amwell Township., Hunterdon County. The residence, although over 80 feet from the barn, suffered significant heat damage. Tanks of compressed gases situated alongside the barn ruptured and released their contents under pressure. Fire units from throughout southern and central Hunterdon County responded to the scene and contained the blaze to the barn. 9/9/26.
