The Compton Cowboys: "Streets raised us, horses saved us"

A inspirational group making a real difference in the Compton community. Josh Apiafi meets the Compton Cowboys in Episode 1 of the new season of Sky Sports Racing's Leading The Way. Changing and in some case saving lives, the group was set up by 10 childhood friends on a mission to challenge stereotypes around African-Americans and horseback riding. Learn more from Stronach Group CEO Aidan Butler on Santa Anita's link-up wit the Compton Cowboys, and champion apprentice Zoie Brogdon about her involvement with horses. Leading The Way is brought to you in association with Arena Racing Company. #BlackHistoryMonth Enjoy the best of Sky Sports Racing and attheraces.com on the free and award-winning At The Races app: iPhone: http://apple.co/1I4NxAV Android: http://bit.ly/1VPIcEz   / attheraces     / attheraces     / at.the.races
