Toilet I installed https://link.amazon/B0iO4G94l Shark bite valve I used https://link.amazon/B05VOFUGl Part 2 of my RV toilet replacement! In this video I remove the old toilet, clean up all the old silicone and caulking, prep the area, and install the new toilet. What should have been a pretty simple swap turned into a little more work when I discovered the original water fitting behind the toilet was broken. After pulling the toilet back out, I replaced the damaged connection with a SharkBite Max faucet connector with an integrated shutoff valve. It connected directly to the existing 1/2” PEX coming through the floor and gave me a flexible water line to connect to the new toilet. The unexpected problem actually turned into a nice upgrade because now the toilet has its own dedicated shutoff valve. If there’s ever a leak or problem with the toilet, I can shut the water off right behind it instead of shutting down the entire RV water system. I finish everything up, reinstall the toilet, reconnect the water, test for leaks, and make sure everything is working properly. If you’re replacing an RV toilet yourself, this video shows the complete process — including what to do when things don’t go exactly as planned.
