SWFL Eagles ~ M15 & OSPREY BOTH CATCH FISH IN POND! ALTERNATE NEST OF M15 & FEMALE FOUND! 💕 10.13.26

M15 is seen flying over the pasture and landing on the pond oak. A few minutes later, with his eagle eye, he flies to the pond with landing gear extended and he catches a fish and flies to the office oak to eat his breakfast! Eleven minutes later, M15 flies off the office oak and heads east. The pond is very full with the recent rains and when a horse comes wading through, you can see the water is just about up to his head! A Great Blue Heron is seen on the post to the left of the screen looking to catch a fish too. It is a great day for fishing because an osprey is also seen diving head first into the pond and catches itself a fish and flies off with it! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SWFEC SEASON 15 UPDATE: "We’ve located an alternate nest that M15 and M’s new female visitor have been actively working on over the past several weeks. Here’s what we know so far—and what it could mean for Season 15. · The eagles were first observed at this new location in September, and nest-building activity has increased in recent weeks. · The nest is in M15's current territory but on private property, and we will continue to respect the landowners’ privacy. · Both eagles have also been spending more time around our pasture this week, leaving plenty of unanswered questions about what comes next. What does this mean for the future of the SWFEC? Right now, we simply don't know. Nest-building does not confirm that the eagles are bonded, that they will choose this new nest, or that they won't ultimately return to our nest tree. With a new mate in the picture, the timeline for nest-building, mating, and potential future eggs will look different this season. As always, nature will unfold on its own timeline. We'll continue to share updates as we can." *There is no audio on the cams at this time. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.* TIMESTAMPS: 00:00 M15 flies across pond to pond oak 00:42 M15 dives into the pond & catches a fish, takes to office oak 01:25 M15 flies off Office oak heading east 01:45 Horse wading in pond 03:00 Great Blue Heron on post fishing 04:07 Osprey dives into pond catching a fish Video captured & edited by Lady Hawk F23 & Harriet forever in our hearts ♥ Thank you SWFEC , hosted by Dick Pritchett Real Estate, for allowing us the opportunity to view these amazing eagles. #southwestfloridaeaglecam #baldeagles SWFEC main webpage: https://dickpritchettrealestate.com/ Pond Cam 3:    • Southwest Florida Eagle Cam (POND CAM VIEW)   Cam 1:    • Southwest Florida Eagle Cam
