The Unbelievable Rise and Sad Fall of NAZARETH!

WHAT HAPPENED TO NAZARETH?    / @band-history   ============= Nazareth built one of hard rock’s most durable original lineups, scored major hits across Britain, Europe, and North America, and turned “Hair of the Dog” and “Love Hurts” into two completely different sides of the same band. But their story did not end when the charts slowed down. This documentary follows Dan McCafferty, Manny Charlton, Pete Agnew, and Darrell Sweet from the Shadettes and the move from Dunfermline to London, through the breakthrough albums Razamanaz, Loud ’n’ Proud, and Hair of the Dog. It also explores Roger Glover’s role, the band’s gift for transforming songs like “This Flight Tonight,” the death of Darrell Sweet, Manny Charlton’s departure, and the moment McCafferty’s health forced him from the stage after only three songs. Nazareth kept moving as the original lineup disappeared one member at a time. Subscribe to BAND HISTORY for more true stories behind the bands, songs, and people who shaped rock history.
