After the usual bumpy ride from the resort to the parking, the weather was finally a little better, so we decided to make one last stop at Vythiri Farm. And this place turned out to be a lot of fun—not just for kids, but for adults too! From interacting with birds and feeding animals to getting a python on our shoulders, there were plenty of experiences to try. They also click photos during the activities, which you can get printed or take the raw files for an additional printing cost. From there, we picked up some local forest honey and masala tea from Vanthara, and then stopped for an authentic Kerala lunch at the popular 1980’s A Nostalgic Restaurant. We had a Kerala Veg Sadhya and Masala Pomfret Fry, and the food was delicious. The staff were also kind enough to explain all the dishes while serving the Sadhya. After lunch, we started our journey back to Bangalore. On the way, we had an unexpected and rather upsetting incident during the Bandipur stretch.
