Catching DEEP Summer Stripers on the Ben Parker Flutter SPOON

Follow me and Message me on Instagram and Facebook ⁨@theoriginalcaptjack⁩ Lake Lanier, GA Sunday, July 20, 2025 Summertime can be the one of, if not the best time of the year to catch Freshwater Striped Bass in Lake Lanier (Southeast Reservoirs). Due to the limited amount of cold AND oxygenated water both the blueback herring and striped bass are forced to reside in specific areas of the lake making the search area much smaller. Most summers they will group up in huge schools in deep water and will often respond favorably to 4-8" artificial lures like Flutter Spoons, Swimbaits, and Bucktails w/Trailers. In this video, I find a lot of stripers in a creek channel feeding on blueback herring and willing to eat the flutter spoon. Give this a try next time you're out on the water, tight lines!!
