I wrote this country song lyrics based on my true childhood experience. Track created by Gemini Story of a Childhood Photo *** Mighty hills with bushes Separated by narrow stretches of paddy fields That were artistically bordered by Streams full of small fishes Happy days with singing birds And fearful nights with beetle symphony Never ending stories to sleep It was my ancestral home In an interior village during 1970s I used to be down with Common cold quite often On a sunny day when I was down Uncle came and along him was a friend Who had a camera with him! The atmosphere became festive Camera kept on blinking Its lens-eye with no rest Groups and singles... The celluloid copied people Location for my photo shoot was fixed In front of the cowshed Which was iconic to every home then And this photo was taken Mother told me decades back. It became a fond memory Very sweet as if I recollected it myself I seldom get the sweetness that memory fills my mind While facing cameras now. ***
