Bujun’s FIRST international trip! SG was extra special this time because we got to experience it with Bujuners. From the airport to our flight, we tried the “pagurin before boarding, then latch during takeoff and landing” hack, and would 💯 recommend! No crying during takeoff or landing, and Maro actually enjoyed the whole flight. Maro was busy smiling, laughing, and making friends with the flight attendants and even some of the passengers. Of course, traveling with a baby meant changing some of the plans. We had to let go of a few itineraries and slow down so baby could get enough rest. Instead, we enjoyed the hotel and the nearby mall’s play area, and honestly, seeing Bujun happy made it all worth it. One of the highlights was the zoo. Maro LOVED it! It was so cute seeing those little eyes light up while looking at all the animals. Food was another adventure! Maro loved the soup that came with our Hainanese chicken order. But honestly, he lost a little weight during the trip because we struggled to find enough rice and our breakfasts were mostly kaya toast and soft boiled eggs 😅 And of course, one of the sweetest parts of this trip was watching Maro bond with the Giovanoni’s. Seeing Maro and Andrea interact, kiss, and enjoy each other’s company made this trip even more memorable. Our first family trip with baby wasn’t perfect, but it was full of little moments we’ll always treasure.
