JOY DIVISION - 'Sordide Sentimental' Session - Original Master

Joy Division 'Sordide Sentimental' Session Recorded at Cargo Studios, Rochdale, October - November, 1979 Produced by Martin 'Zero' Hannett One of Joy Division's best studio sessions in my opinion, the first two tracks were released as the single 'Licht Und Blindheit' on the Sordide Sentimental label in March 1980. Ice Age remained unreleased until Still in 1981. Taken from the 1991 Japan Boxset, which used transfers of the original masters, whereas most reissues starting with Heart and Soul used inferior 2nd gen sources. In lossless quality, play it nice and loud. TIMESTAMPS: 00:00 Atmosphere 04:10 Dead Souls 09:06 Ice Age More info about this session here: https://www.joydiv.org/sessions.htm
