After the hike, I stop in at Poppies Café for their famous bunya nut pie, then head over to hand‑feed the local birds. Along the way I spot wallabies, brush turkeys, and plenty of curious wildlife. I also so give a walk through Dandabah camp grounds, My home for the next couple of nights.
