The Continuation of a 100% Walkthrough Series for Medal of Honor (1999), played on the secret "Captain Dye" difficulty. ABOUT 100% COMPLETION: To achieve 100% completion in Medal of Honor, two requirements must be met in each Level: 1 - Finish the Level with 95% or more of Enemies eliminated. 2 - Finish the Level with 75% or more of Patterson's Health intact. Sounds easy enough, but a lot of levels have broken enemy spawns, which can sometimes cause the kill count to increase beyond its intended value. If this happens, it can often become impossible to reach 95% kills for that level without a restart. At the end of each Level, the game will show the Performance Evaluation screen. The "Overall Rating" statistic near the top of the page is what tracks your completion percentage throughout the game. If you managed to meet both requirements listed above, you will be granted an "Excellent" rating, along with three (3) Gold Stars. Once an "Excellent" rating has been earned for all the Levels in a Mission, you will be awarded a Medal and a Secret Code. Continue to earn Medals and Secret Codes across all Mission, and you're on your way to 100% completion! There are also a number of minor unlockables that are earned silently in the background as you play. At the end of this series, I will create a video showing off all of the unlockables that can be obtained throughout the game, as well as a few other extras that cannot be unlocked by normal means. ABOUT CAPTAIN DYE MODE: The only way to access Captain Dye Mode is to enter the Password "CAPTAINDYE" into the typewriter in the options menu. The Password will only be accepted on brand new profiles with a 0% completion percentage. Captain Dye Mode ultimately changes little about how the game functions, and it's almost a lie to even call it a "difficulty". The only difference between the Standard Game and Captain Dye Mode is how the Health Meter functions between levels. In the Standard Game, Patterson's Health completely regenerates to 100% in-between each level. However, if Captain Dye Mode is active, then Patterson's Health does NOT regenerate in-between levels. Instead, his Health only regenerates at the end of a Mission. ABOUT LEVEL 4 - HEAVY WATER: A relatively easy Level compared to the previous three. While the new Panzerschreck troops are very dangerous, they are slow to react and can easily be taken out before they get a shot off. Their shots can also be avoided by simply moving out of the rocket's path. The enemies spawn infinitely after you mount the machine gun at (6:14), but you'll be guaranteed to achieve an "Excellent" rating as long as you eliminate at least 6 of them. Make sure to fully search both the main road and the upper-right pathway near the start to completely clear out the Level. ABOUT MEDAL OF HONOR: Medal of Honor is a First-Person Shooter which originally released in 1999, exclusively for the Sony PlayStation. In it, you play as Lt. James "Jimmy" Patterson, an American soldier who has been recently recruited into the O.S.S. (Office of Strategic Services) during the later stages of World War II. Lt. Patterson is subsequently sent on various Missions behind enemy lines to help secure total victory for the Allied forces in Europe. Medal of Honor was an important release for its time and is one of the earlier examples of a successful console-exclusive First-Person Shooter.
