Tangle of the Week 30: Hollis

Today's project features a color option. We'll start by making a "vine" on the diagonal using the curvy tangle Hollis. Next, our "vine" needs some flowers, so we'll borrow from CZT Jane MacKugler's Henna Drum tangle. Add in some optional orbs, followed by stippling and shading and your tile is complete. However, if you would like to add some color to your project and day, keep watching for tips on how to do that with just 6 basic colors using a layering technique. Week 30 tangle: Hollis by Zentangle® Recommended supplies: One 3.5" x 3.5" white tile from Zentangle® (or white computer paper or a sketchbook), a black pen, a #2 pencil, and a tortillon (or cotton swab).
