At East Mids Tech Week, NetMonkeys brought together three different perspectives for an open discussion on Building AI & Automation Power. Hosted by Nick Gall, Managing Director at NetMonkeys, the panel explored how businesses are moving beyond the AI hype and finding practical ways to use artificial intelligence and automation to solve real business problems. Joining Nick on the panel were: Josh Turner – Nuvo Hiring Shane Malpass – We Buy Any Motor Caravan The discussion covered: • How businesses are approaching AI adoption • Where AI and automation can create genuine business value • Moving beyond AI hype and identifying practical use cases • How automation can improve efficiency and productivity • Using AI to enhance customer experiences • The importance of getting employees involved in AI adoption • The challenges businesses face when introducing new technology • Why there is no one-size-fits-all AI strategy • How businesses can identify the right opportunities for AI • What successful AI adoption could look like in practice One of the key themes from the discussion was that AI adoption is not simply about buying the latest technology. The real opportunity comes from understanding your business, identifying genuine problems and finding where AI and automation can make a meaningful difference. It also means bringing people along with the technology. The businesses that get the most from AI will need to think about skills, culture, processes and change management alongside the technology itself. A huge thank you to everyone who joined the session at East Mids Tech Week, and to Nick, Josh and Shane for sharing their experiences and perspectives.
