Alzheimer’s Association highlights research advances ahead of Walk to End Alzheimer’s

As thousands of people prepare to participate in this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s, organizers are highlighting advances in research and treatment made possible in part by community support. The annual event raises money for Alzheimer’s research while bringing together families, caregivers and others impacted by the disease. “The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is our greatest opportunity to raise awareness for this disease and also raise critical funds for our mission,” said Lissa Greenlee, executive director of the Alzheimer’s Association of Virginia.
