Union Pacific Big Boy 4014 in Altoona 7/10/26

During its stay in Altoona, the Big Boy and its train would be put on display in Norfolk Southern's Rose Yard. Shuttle buses provided visitors easy access to the yard from Peoples Natural Gas Field and the Logan Valley Mall, and billboards were set up to provide some information for the visiting Union Pacific engines. In addition to the Coast-to-Coast Tour, , Norfolk Southern provided several of their own special engines for display. This included ES44AC 8184 "Altoona" and SD70ACe 1231 "Atlanta", both painted in the Landmark Series scheme, Pennsylvania Railroad ES44AC 8102, SD60E 9-1-1 "First Responders", SD70ACe 2026, and SD70ACe 250, two units dedicated to the country's 250th Anniversary.
