Introducing VEDA – Video Evaluation of Daily Answers, a new initiative by SPM IAS Academy designed to help civil services aspirants improve their Mains answer writing through consistent practice, detailed faculty feedback and personalised video evaluations.
Preparing for APSC, UPSC or other State Public Service Commission examinations? Writing answers regularly is essential, but understanding where you are making mistakes and how to improve is equally important.
With the VEDA Answer Evaluation Programme, eligible SPM IAS Academy Foundation students can submit their handwritten Mains answers and receive voice and video-based evaluations from experienced faculty members.
Unlike conventional answer checking, where students receive written comments on their answer sheets, VEDA aims to provide a more interactive evaluation experience, helping aspirants understand their mistakes, identify areas for improvement and strengthen their answer-writing skills.
What is the VEDA Answer Evaluation Programme?
VEDA stands for Video Evaluation of Daily Answers.
The programme has been introduced to encourage consistent Mains answer-writing practice while providing constructive feedback tailored to the examination students are preparing for.
Key Features of VEDA:
✅ Submit up to 2 Mains answers daily from different question sources
✅ Detailed voice and video evaluations by faculty members
✅ Personalised feedback on answer-writing mistakes and improvements
✅ Evaluation based on your target civil services examination
✅ Available for both English and Assamese medium students
✅ Accessible to existing and former Foundation students of SPM IAS Academy
✅ Support for developing consistency, speed and answer-writing confidence
