Will Imam al-Mahdi (عجّل الله فرجه) come as a peacemaker? 16 narrations of the Ahlulbayt on the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad and the Imam's rising. Many people imagine Imam al-Mahdi as a diplomatic peacemaker who will accommodate existing political structures. In this lecture, Sayyid Abdullah Almusawi examines the prophetic parallel between Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله) and Imam al-Mahdi, and narrations that present a different picture: the Imam's use of the sword, his confrontation with established powers, and the resistance he will face.
