Enfield Lock Level Crossing

Saturday May 23 2015 at 7.03 am. The 6.42 London Liverpool Street to Hertford East (7.31) and the 6.39 Hertford East to Liverpool Street (7.28) train running slightly late. Both trains are supposed to be in the station at the same time. This crossing was filmed in 2011 when a train broke down in the station and the barriers were shut for ages. One minute of the wait here was cut out. In February a Mercedes driver was photographed driving over this crossing with the red lights flashing and was fined over £1175 incl costs and given 9 penalty points. With 16 trains an hour off peak, this is a busy crossing.
