TREOS is returning for a new live event alongside The Dear Hunter!!! so to celebrate, I've decided to compile all of the rarer tracks that are hard to come by. Some of these definitely show their age, but I enjoy having an archive of the band's history as their music means a lot to me. Most of these were found via old websites from the early 2000s you find on pages 3 - 4 of google, or from Reddit posts of people sharing their old physical copies they got from the live shows back in the day. I'm also gonna go on record saying that my only way to verify that the instrumental ones are actual TREOS tracks is by finding old posts that mention them; if it turns out that some other band made the track and a random dude on Reddit decided to throw it into their compilation and just label it "rare treos!", then please let me know. I've also included "Salvo Brio", a song by ex-singer Ben Potrykus's other band, "The Lido Venice"; this track is freely available at: https://lidovenice.bandcamp.com/album... The story behind this particular track is interesting and goes roughly as follows: Ben was the lead singer for TREOS up until they got an offer from a big record label in around late 2003 to early 2004. The band was stoked about this and wanted to jump on it, but Ben felt as though he couldn't; he didn't want that kind of life. A consequence of this was that the deal wouldn't go through without Ben, holding the rest of the band back. Later, when the band brought on Casey Crescenzo as Ben's replacement, the TREOS song "Dead Men Tell No Tales" was written and is mostly a metaphor about how the band felt about the ordeal. Ben saw this release and then wrote "Salvo Brio" as a response song. It's added to this video because I personally consider it to also be part of the history of TREOS.
