African Country Trance - King Of Africa | Radio Drifter

He stands at the edge of the cliff the way his fathers did, and theirs before them. The village sleeps below. Kilimanjaro holds the moon. And the old king keeps watch over a land that's getting smaller every year. "King of Africa" is a tribute to the lion. Not the cartoon, not the trophy, but the real one. The one who walked this land long before people and who's running out of room to walk it now. This song is for him, while he's still out there. Pull up a chair by the radio. Turn the lights down. Listen to the night. 🌙 About Radio Drifter Radio Drifter is an outlaw country station broadcasting on a frequency the government swears don't exist.
