Nik The Robot Parrot From 'Lost In Space' 3D Printed With Lights And Sound

This is a 'full scale' model of Nik the robot parrot from the 1960s TV series 'Lost in Space'. He appeared in two episodes as a wisecracking sidekick to the space pirate Alonzo P. Tucker . The episodes were S1E18 'The Sky Pirate' and S2E23 'Treasure Of The Lost Planet'. This model has no moving parts. It has a Picaxe microcontroller controlling a DY-SV17F mp3 player module. It also has leds that light up when it plays the sound files. When its single button is pressed it plays a sound file. It has two modes. If the button is held down when the power is turned on it will be in normal mode. In that mode it just plays clips from the show. If the button is not held down on power up, it will be in 'Magic Eight Ball' mode.
