2X The Impact [Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact Tournament]

Street Fighter III: 2nd Impact released on September 30, 1997 and was the second iteration of the SF3 series. The game lived for about 2 years before Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike would enter the scene and be one of the fan favorites until this day. SFIII: 2I was one of the most requested games to run a tournament for so Riz0ne decided to give the people what they asked for. On September 5th, 2021 Riz0ne ran the event with commentary by Heather, FlashG and NYCFurby. Lots of tech and OG stories were shared by the bunch, as well as surprise entrants across various game specialists including SabreAZ, Hokuto, Dr Steelhammer, LordBBH and more. After the tournament, some exhibition matches were played under widescreen mode which gives a modern perspective of this classic gem. twitch.tv/riz0ne | twitch.tv/nycfurby https://challonge.com/eoqyrr1i
