【Tochigi Japan】🇯🇵A Hidden Hydrangea Spot in Japan & Local Food

We visited Mt. Ohira in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan, to enjoy the hydrangeas of early summer. Walking slowly up the stone steps, we made our way to Ohirasan Shrine, located near the top of the mountain and loved by locals for centuries. After the visit, we took a break at a teahouse near the viewpoint and tried the famous local specialties of Mt. Ohira. From the viewpoint, you can also enjoy a wide panoramic view over the Kanto Plain. On the way back down, we walked through the teahouse street, and finally ended the day with a bowl of Sano ramen, a regional specialty. A peaceful early-summer walk filled with seasonal flowers, quiet mountain paths, and local flavors. 📍 Location Mt.
