Saturday Morning Walk: Loughborough: Riding The Scenic Line

Short Trip adventure north on the Midlands Mainline, on the weekend of 19th Sept. when the the main stretch of the MML between Kettering and Leicester was shut down for maintenance. Meaning ALL trains running branch line, past Corby...... through Oakham and Melton Mowbray. The Parkway Express which usually starts at Corby, was starting & ending from Wellingborough. keeping the branch line clear for Sheffield/nottingham services. #travel #london #midlands #england #northamptonshire #trains #fyp #weekend #life
