This Core Concept video focuses on David Hume's work, the Enquiry Concerning Human Understanding, and discusses his important distinction between what he terms ideas and impressions of the mind. Many ideas are in some way copies or representations of the impressions we experience. If you'd like to support my work producing videos like this, become a Patreon supporter!
