Trey Hensley - Church Street Blues (Tony Rice/Norman Blake Cover)

Here’s a cover of one of my favorite songs by Norman Blake…and of course covered on the legendary Tony Rice album of the same name. Here’s a rough backstage version of “Church Street Blues”. We are having a blast on this run of shows opening for the incredible Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. As I post this, we are about to go on in Louisville. Hope to see y’all in your town soon! Thanks for watching! The guitar is a Pre-War Co. 12 fret 28 style (old growth Indian rosewood back and sides). D’Addario Nickel Bronze Strings (medium gauge) and a BlueChip TAD60 pick.
